Co-founded by Rémi Prechac and Pierre Maurice in 2015, VOLT TOURNAGES has since hosted more than 1500 French and international films and series.

The AAPCA is an association of film and audiovisual production accountants, cost controllers, as well as chartered accountants in the profession. It is now open to assistant production accountants.

It is a convivial place, which allows us to discuss tax, social and contractual developments in our profession in order to better adapt to them.

We meet several times a year to discuss specific issues, but also to have more festive moments!

The Association is an active interlocutor with private and public organisations and also enables dynamic exchanges with all professionals in the sector. It is notably a member of the CST (Commission Supérieure Technique de l'image et du son).

Based in Bordeaux, in the South-West of France, Gironde Film Commission, a service of Gironde Tourism, offers to accompany you in the preparation of your shooting. A member of the Film France and ALCA-Nouvelle-Aquitaine film commission networks, France's largest department welcomes you for all your filming.
Its many locations will take you into a multitude of imaginations and inspirations: a coastline of more than 120 kms (75 miles), divided between wild dune landscapes and authentic marinas; a famous wine heritage and prestigious chateaux; the largest forest in Europe and its lakes, which sometimes look like creeks; the city of Bordeaux and its Haussmannian architecture, which allows you to create 18th century scenes.
You will also find green background studios, animation studios as well as a complete range of services for your virtual productions thanks to the service providers based in Gironde.
The Gironde Film Commission also helps you to obtain filming permits.
The Gironde has a film fund that complements the regional film fund of New Aquitaine.
In 2022, 12 projects benefited from this fund.

– The scout is a privileged collaborator of the director, the production designer, the director
photography, assistant director, and production.

– The location scout attentive to the artistic direction of the film, summarizes the constraints of setting
stage of each sequence, the technical and financial constraints of each project in
proposing places that will become the sets of this film.

– His collaboration in the preparation phase of a film goes from reading the script to
proposal of decorations, answers and artistic, technical and financial solutions.

– The scout, with his experience of filming, his knowledge of the “field”, the
cinema, photography, his knowledge of art history, architecture and
town planning must respond to the requests of the director while being a force of
proposals capable of defending their own ideas.

– First representative of the production in the places that will host the filming, the
scout must have relational qualities establishing a professional relationship and
confidence.

– The scout defines with the assistant director, the production designer and the director of
production, the priorities in the research to be carried out and can give its estimate of the
research time required for locations.

– When the workload and the time allocated require it, and in order to guarantee a quality of
work, the scout can propose the constitution of a team of confirmed scouts or in
training and coordinating research.

– The location scout guarantees the memory of the research implemented throughout the
preparation of the film and constitutes a summary file of his work for the staging
and production.
